As you enjoy the summer sunshine, now is the perfect time to plan the rest of your creative year.
Join us at our Islington or Highgate studios and discover the joy of working with clay in a welcoming, relaxed environment. Whether you're looking for a mindful midweek escape, keen to learn a new skill, or ready to continue your pottery journey, our classes and courses offer something for every level of experience.
Our programme for the months ahead is now open for booking, with a wide range of 2-hour Taster Sessions, Beginners' Wheel Throwing courses, hand-building workshops, one-day experiences, and improvers courses running throughout the year. Many of our most popular classes fill well in advance, so we recommend booking early to secure the dates that suit you best.

Wheel Throwing Courses
Clay Time's popular beginners' course that will instruct you in the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel.

Introduction to pottery techniques course
A great all rounder course for the beginners or all skill levels. Pinch, coil, slab build and have a go on the potter's wheel.

Improvers wheel throwing course
A good course to follow the beginners wheel throwing if you feel ready to move up, learn throwing taller and to shape your pots.

Children wheel throwing Tasters- 8year +
Clay Time offers a unique opportunity for children to experience wheel throwing on a potter's wheel . Our studio provides a fun environment for children to be creative, and parents or guardians can book themselves in and join in on the fun too!

After school children course
A fantastic way to introduce children to the world of ceramics in a fun and inspiring environment. Children will explore different hand-building methods to create a variety of unique pieces. Some projects will be completed in one session, while others will develop over two sessions, giving kids a real sense of progress and achievement.
