Beginners'  ONE DAY courses

•  Full Day Wheel Throwing Course 10 am - 5pm ,18th November

 (up to 6 participants using 6 throwing Wheels)

​

This is an intensive throwing course that focuses on learning the  basics of throwing on the potter's wheel.  The  aim is to develop the following skills: wedging, centering, compressing, pulling and some turning. We fire your best 3 pieces for you and dip them in a colour of your choice. The pots will be ready for collection 3 weeks after your course. Please note that you will spend a considerable part of the 6 hours working on the potters wheel. If you are  suffering  from back or arm/wrist injuries please wait until you are better before registering on this course.
