Beginners Hand Building course - 5 weeks - Highgate
Our 5-week Hand Building course is perfect for all skill levels from complete beginners to experienced builders. You’ll explore a range of techniques, including pinching, coiling, and slab building, with the flexibility to focus on one if preferred. The course structure adapts to each group’s needs and feedback, and the final week is dedicated to glazing, where you’ll learn how to apply the finishing touches to your pieces.

Taught by an experienced instructor, with lessons tailored to your skill level.

Create up to 6 pottery pieces inclusive, with the option to glaze and fire extras for £10 per pot.

Beginners will build foundational skills, while more experienced students can refine their practice.
6 glazed and fired pots are included in the course fee. Additional pots are £10 each.
